Our Focus for 2011
Since the beginning our focus has been on ‘Education’ of ourselves and community outreach. Our two main areas of concentration will continue to be on the US Constitution and Economics. We will have committees as follows and ask you to consider serving on one.

Committees will meet at least once a month to brainstorm and develop a presentation, for the group at one or possibly both monthly meetings.
Our goal is to allow for group business during the first half hour or less of each meeting; and to then have a committee report or a topic for the remainder in the form of a speaker, or a DVD. Most meetings will be approximately one to one and a half hours. We look forward to a productive and fun year.

Our Mission Statement
We recognize that without hope we have no chance of changing the course of our country or picking ourselves up and rising out of the ashes as we did on 9.12. We believe, like our hard working and educated founding fathers, that life like government begins at the family/local level and as such we will inspire hope in our community through participation, education and legislation. We WILL uphold the Constitution and we will do so by educating ourselves, our families, and those who are willing to learn, by informing them/us about the original intent of our founding fathers and their inspiring documents. We will not back any political parties or candidates. We will align ourselves at times with other organizations to help with issues at the state and federal level.

Do You Have What It Takes To Be A Patriot?
Any people that would give up liberty for a little temporary safety deserves neither liberty nor safety.
-Benjamin Franklin
We base all our experiments on the capacity of mankind for self-government.
-James Madison
Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.
-Thomas Jefferson
Government is not reason; it is not eloquence. It is force. And force, like fire, is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.
-George Washington
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is argument of tyrants. It is the creed of slaves.
-William Pitt in the House of Commons November 18, 1783
You have rights antecedent to all earthly governments; rights that cannot be repealed or restrained by human laws; rights derived from the Great Legislator of the Universe
-John Adams - 2nd President

The Nine Principles
1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
